Before you start

  • with the engine off.

Steps

  1. Turn the ignition key to RUN with the engine off.
  2. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal slowly three times within five seconds.
  3. Turn the key to LOCK.
  4. Reinstall the cover and tighten the screws.

Operating the engine with the air cleaner/filter off can cause you or others to be burned.

Engine Compartment Fuse Block

Where to find it

Engine Compartment Fuse Block The fuse block is located under the hood in the engine compartment on the driver's side of the vehicle.

Remove the primary cover by pressing the two locking tabs.
