Oil life & reset procedures
Engine oil life system reset
Before you start
- Reset the system whenever the engine oil is changed so that the system can calculate the next engine oil change.
- Turn the ignition to ON/RUN, with the engine off.
Steps
- Turn the ignition to ON/RUN, with the engine off.
- Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds.
- Turn the key to LOCK/OFF.
- Let the engine run at idle for three to five minutes.
- If the fluid level is in the acceptable range, push the dipstick back in all the way.

Engine Compartment Fuse Block The engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver side of the vehicle, near the battery.
press in the side flaps to release the cover.
Instrument Panel Fuse Block
Where to find it
Instrument Panel Fuse Block The instrument panel fuse block is located on the end of the instrument panel on the driver side of the vehicle.
open the fuse panel door by pulling the door out.
