Fluids & capacities

Engine Coolant

50/50 mixture of clean, drinkable water and use only DEX-COOL® Coolant. See Engine Coolant on page 5-17. Hydraulic Brake System Delco® Supreme 11 Brake Fluid or equivalent DOT-3 brake fluid. Windshield Washer Optikleen® Washer Solvent.

Oil life & reset procedures

Engine oil life system reset

Before you start

  • Turn the ignition to ON/RUN, with the engine off.

Steps

  1. Turn the ignition to ON/RUN, with the engine off.
  2. Press the vehicle information button until OIL LIFE REMAINING displays.
  3. Press and hold the set/reset button until 100% is displayed. You will hear three chimes and the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message will go off.
  4. Turn the key to LOCK/OFF.
  5. Inspect or replace the air filter element.
  6. Reverse Steps 1 through 3 to reinstall the cover and reconnect the electrical connector.

Operating the engine with the air cleaner/filter off can cause you or others to be burned.

Instrument Panel Fuse Block

Where to find it

Instrument Panel Fuse Block The instrument panel fuse block is located under the instrument panel on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Pull down on the cover to access the fuse block.
