Engine oil life system reset

Before you start

  • with the engine off.

Steps

  1. Turn the ignition key to ON/RUN with the engine off.
  2. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal slowly three times within five seconds. The change engine oil light will flash while the system is resetting.
  3. When the light stops flashing, turn the key to LOCK/OFF.
  4. Reinstall the cover and tighten the screws.

Where to find it

Engine Compartment Fuse Block The fuse block is located under the hood in the engine compartment on the driver side of the vehicle.

Remove the primary cover by pressing the two locking tabs.
