Oil life & reset procedures
Engine oil life system reset
Before you start
- Reset the system whenever the engine oil is changed so that the system can calculate the next engine oil change.
Steps
- Display the REMAINING OIL LIFE on the DIC. See Driver Information Center (DIC) (Base) 0 115 or Driver Information Center (DIC) (Midlevel and Uplevel) 0 117.
- Press and hold V on the DIC while the Oil Life display is active. The oil life will change to 100%.
- Press p to move to the Reset/Disable display area. Select Reset then press V.
- Press V to confirm to reset.
You’ll know it worked: The oil life will change to 100%.
Use of the incorrect automatic transmission fluid may damage the vehicle, and the damage may not be covered by the vehicle warranty.
If part replacement is necessary, the part must be replaced with one of the same part number or with an equivalent part.

Engine Compartment Fuse Block
Where to find it
Engine Compartment Fuse Block The underhood fuse block is in the engine compartment, on the driver side of the vehicle.
remove the fuse block cover, press the clips on the cover and lift it straight up.

Instrument Panel Fuse Block
Where to find it
Instrument Panel Fuse Block The instrument panel fuse block is inside the center console on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Open the fuse panel door, or remove the panel from the passenger side by pulling it out.
