Use only engine oil meeting the dexos1™specification of the proper SAE viscosity grade. Look for the dexos1 approved logo for GM approved engine oil. See Engine Oil on page 10-8.

Use this for ordinary driving.

You’ll know it worked: The system is reset when the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message is off and the REMAINING OIL LIFE 100% message is displayed.
Engine Compartment Fuse Block The engine compartment fuse block is on the driver side of the engine compartment, near the battery.

Instrument Panel Fuse Block The instrument panel fuse block is in the instrument panel, on the driver side of the vehicle.
