Engine oil life system reset

Before you start

  • with the engine off.

Steps

  1. Turn the ignition key to RUN with the engine off.
  2. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal slowly three times within five seconds.
  3. If the Change Engine Oil light flashes for five seconds, the system is reset.
  4. Turn the key to LOCK.

You’ll know it worked: If the Change Engine Oil light flashes for five seconds, the system is reset.
