Oil life & reset procedures
Engine oil life system reset
Before you start
- Reset the system whenever the engine oil is changed so that the system can calculate the next engine oil change.
- Turn the ignition to ON/RUN, with the engine off .
Steps
- Turn the ignition to ON/RUN, with the engine off .
- Press and release the stem in the lower center of the instrument cluster until the OIL LIFE message is displayed.
- Once the alternating OIL LIFE and RESET messages appear, press and hold the stem until several beeps sound. This confirms that the oil life system has been reset.
- Turn the key to LOCK/OFF.

Where to find it
Engine Compartment Fuse Block The engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver side of the engine compartment.
remove the cover, push in on the tab on the end of the cover and lift.
