Engine oil life system reset
Steps
Press the up or down arrow to scroll the DIC to show OIL LIFE.
Once the XXX% ENGINE OIL LIFE menu item is highlighted, press and hold the RESET button until the percentage shows 100%. If the percentage does not return to 100% or if the CHANGE OIL NOW message comes back on when you start your vehicle, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure.
Remove the engine air cleaner/filter element and any loose debris that may be found in the air cleaner base.
Inspect or replace the filter.
Repeat the procedure for the second air cleaner/filter.
Instrument Panel Fuse Block The panel fuse block is located on the passenger's side of the vehicle, under the instrument panel and under the toe-board.
Remove the carpet and toe-board covering to access the fuse block by pulling at the top of each corner of the panel.
