Engine oil meeting the dexos1 specification of the proper SAE viscosity grade. ACDelco dexos1 full synthetic is recommended. See Engine Oil 0 237.

Use this for ordinary driving.

You’ll know it worked: The system is reset when the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message is off.
Use of the incorrect automatic transmission fluid may damage the vehicle, and the damage may (Continued) Vehicle Care 241 Caution (Continued) not be covered by the vehicle warranty.
Instrument Panel Fuse Block The instrument panel fuse block is in the glove box.
open the fuse panel door from the passenger side by pulling it out.
Rear Compartment Fuse Block The rear compartment fuse block is behind a cover on the left side of the rear compartment.
Remove the fuse block access cover.
